Mile 108 is the ideal destination for the adventure seeking tourists/visitors who want to experience camping in “an African outback.”

It is situated a short distance north of Cape Cross, where Bartholomew Diaz first landed in 1498.

Fishermen can find a variety of fish such as large surf sharks, and massive table and sports fish such as the kabeljou.

There are 170 individual campsites, with each accommodating up to a maximum of six people.

Both day visitors and overnight campers are welcome.

Currently the rates are N$ 100 per campsite per day plus N$ 30 per person per day.
